When we started our search, Diego patiently worked with us, helping flesh out exactly what we were looking for and how we’d use the boat. For us, it was quality, safety, and long-range capabilities. Our dream is to eventually make the trek to Alaska! Having worked with Diego Gomez both as a buyer and later as a seller, I could not recommend him more highly.

I first met Diego in 2014 when searching for my first yacht. I knew what I was looking for, and it was obvious from the start that he was knowledgeable, understood customer service, and was very skilled in operating and managing boats. He is also well respected in the marine community and always able to advise me and connect me with excellent vendors for any work I needed done.

I decided to sell my boat in 2019, trading up to a yacht in Europe, and brought it to Diego to sell. The market was a bit uncertain, Diego did an excellent job of developing a strategy and presenting the boat for sale. I felt he promoted the boat very well and he kept me well informed. He was thoughtful and responsive to the strategy we had agreed to. We did have to do one price reduction but were able to secure a buyer soon after.

The boat surveyed well, and though a few things came up, Diego was able to negotiate on my behalf and no repair allowance was needed.

While shopping for our family’s first yacht, I reached out to several brokers in the Seattle area. Diego was one of the brokers I chose to approached based solely on the reputation of his company and his personal biography. What impressed me immediately was Diego’s initial thoughtful and expeditious email reply. Diego’s response was polar opposite from the other brokers that seemed either disinterested or aloof. In a very active market, I got the impression that other brokers had neither time or interest to work with a new buyer.

Diego not only spent considerable time listening and thoughtfully asking questions to uncover our true goals of the purchase, but also spent time walking through the purchase steps including things to be weary of, as this was our first time in the market.

We reviewed several candidate yachts in person, during which he freely shared his honest and considerable experience. Diego worked well with the listing brokers and title company, giving us the additional assurance that he was involved in every aspect of the deal on our behalf. Even after our purchase, Diego offered to help us relocate the yacht to our slip, spent additional time giving us valuable boating accessory recommendations, and has spent time training us aboard our new yacht.

At every step of the process, Diego went above and beyond expectations and he continues to do everything required to solidly build a long-term relationship. Though we know Diego has many clients, he never once gave us the impression that we were not his highest priority.

I was very lucky to have (virtually) bumped into Diego while I was searching for a contemporary west coast trawler. Inventory was very low, and most of what was on the market did not fit what I was looking for.
